The 21st annual Parade of Homes
(Collier County, Florida) ended its 16-day run on March 2nd,
2003. Designed to show the “best” of what’s
being built in Collier County, there were fourteen Parade
entries including custom estate homes, single family homes,
villas, carriage homes and coach homes priced from the mid
$200’s to more than $1 million.
The Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA) Parade of
Homes winners were chosen by a group of industry professionals
from outside the area, who toured the models before the opening
of the Parade. Judges voted for their favorite homes in 25
different categories and trophies were presented to honor
the winners. Henning Construction was one of five builders
taking home multiple awards. The two trophies received were
awards for “Livability” and “Best Interior
Design,” both from The Birdie model carriage home in
Flamingo Fairways at Lely Resort.
